About Me
My professional journey as an unlicensed psychotherapist commenced in 2017 upon the completion of my Ph.D. in Psychology from Capella University in 2016. Subsequent to my graduation, I have undertaken comprehensive training experiences and actively participated in counseling and clinical environments, which have significantly contributed to the establishment of a robust foundation for my mental health counseling practice.

My diverse training background encompasses addiction counseling, involvement in treatment centers for adolescents, participation in jail-based treatment programs, engagement in sobriety court treatment, and completion of various training modules facilitated by the Office of Behavioral Health in Colorado. Notably, I attained my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in May 2022.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), License Number LPC.0020749, and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). Additionally, I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and a Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician (NATC). These credentials reflect my commitment to providing high-quality, specialized mental health care to my clients.

Within my counseling practice, I offer a diverse range of evidence-based behavioral techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gestalt therapy, play therapy, and Solution Focused Brief therapy. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), providing specialized services for adults, children, and adolescents. As a mental health supervisor for practicum students and interns, I am dedicated to fostering a supportive and enriching environment where aspiring mental health professionals can gain invaluable experience.

I remain committed to contributing to the well-being of individuals through the application of my extensive training, diverse skill set, and unwavering dedication to the field of mental health counseling.
